| Ending: The ending isn't all that confusing. That is, not all that confusing considering the rest of the film. Basically, Michael and Queenie fight Sakura, all changing in and out of their ninja costumes randomly and using stupidly useful ninja techniques at stupidly useless times. Oh, sorry, that's not right at all, is it? I mean, what's more useful than teleporting behind someone to avoid a slap and then giving them a little shove? Teleporting behind them and cutting their head off? Preposterous! Anyway, it all ends up with the bad guys dead, the police being absolutely punctual (that is to say they arrive after everything's been sorted out) and Queenie Yang running off to brood on top of a cliff just in time for "THE END" to come up in big, bold, white lettering. Positive Points: + Gordon's two minute cameo at the beginning. + I suppose it's good if you think ninja fights cutting to sex scenes and then back again is the best idea since Steven Hawking invented the universe. Negative Points: - Gordon isn't in it long enough. - Michael is such a poor replacement for Gordon that it's not even funny. I mean, compare the moustaches: - Confusingly abrupt, nonsensical ninja fights lead into pointless ten second long sex scenes for no real reason. - The fighting is poor. So poor, in fact, that I'm fairly sure that the cameras are sped up during the majority of the ninja fights. - If this is supposed to be a sequel to Ninja Terminator, then WHY THE HELL ISN'T JAGUAR WONG IN IT!? |

| This ninja is ginger, and also dead. NOTE: This picture is not from Golden Ninja Warrior, but rather Ninja Squad. I realised I'd taken too few GNW pictures, but then realised that most of the scenes are interchangeable within the films without causing a loss of sense anyway. |

| Part of the aforementioned rape scene. Eagle misses his mark and suddenly realise he is in the embrace of a concrete wall. It's worth noting that this goes on for about ten to fifteen minutes. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Final Thoughts: Golden Ninja Warrior is the second most boring Joseph Lai film I've ever seen, despite how confusing it is, and also the least amusing. I mean, Ninja Dragon might've been boring, but at least the fantastic plot point that Gordon decided the best way to get revenge for one of his murdered friends was to murder all of his other friends was there. For a large portion of Golden Ninja Warrior I wondered how and why the hell Queenie Yang was in this film, but then my pondering would escape me as soon as I was subjected to yet another shot of her disconcertingly masculine arse. 4/10 Humour Scale: 1 1/2 Johnny Chans / 0 Jackie Chans. |
