When someone is looking at the word, SABBATH, they always relate that word to religion. Well, that's how I want you guys to think. I am a Seventh Day Adventist and a Christian, and I do worship the Sabbath on the Seventh Day, Saturday.

I do believe that PRAYER is a strong way of bonding. Bonding with Christ that is. Now let's look at prayer. For those that didn't know, you need faith to be able to pray. You need to have faith that your prayer will be answered (Hebrews 11). How hard is praying anyway? There are three parts in a prayer: thanksgiving, asking for needs, and confessing our sins. In those three parts you can included many things. Like thanksgiving for the air that we breath, asking to have a greater faith, and confessing for someone's feeling that you've hurt. Many times, we like to pray for what we need. Have any of you pray for what others' may need? Howbout praying for your enemy? That is the strangest thing for human nature. Isn't it?
Now let's look at the list of Prayer Requests on the buttom. I hope those that see this would pray with me, to help those that in need. I do know that prayer works. So keep these prayers in mind each time you pray.

Prayer Requests:

  • Pray for countries in war to bring an end to those war.

  • The people in need of place to live, clothing, or even a piece of bread.

  • The Christian members in Indonesia that are being persecuted.

  • The Indonesian-American SDA Church of Colorado, a new church that needs to have strong support in prayer.

  • Each youth in our church that have one or more problems in the family that cannot be solved in a humanely manner. Please keep our youth and the family in prayer.
  • Pray for students to be able to get their goals in life. Especially those students in need for scholarships. Please pray so that God will open up a way for them to be able to acomplish their goals.
  • Please pray for those that are sick physically and mentally. We know that God is The Doctor of all doctors. He have the power to cure. We just need to ask.
  • The widows who have lost their husband.
  • Ms. Miriam Kwao from Ivory Coast, who have lost her husband. Pray so that she can find happiness in her life to subdue the pain of the lost of a love one.
  • And ofcourse the unmentioned prayers

  •    Never stop praying. I have felt the power of prayers through my life, and it have changed people's life. Including mine.
To have a prayer request to be listed here, or if you want me to pray for you privately, you can send me an e-mail with a note telling private or not. Prayer can definitely bring a sense of peace and harmony in you. Especially, when you confess the wrong douings that you've done to God and let it all out for Him to bear. Have faith that He hears each word that comes out of our mouth. To me, it feels really good when you pray. Try it. Spend atleast 5 minutes on your free time to pray. And the important thing is focus. Do not think anything other than what you are about to pray. Because keep in mind, that you are talking to God.
