1. How do you pronouce Jamin's name? (Although he's not in the band anymore, it's still a common question)
       Jay-men
2. How do you pronounce 'Einziger'?
Ein as in Einstein, zig as in zig zag, and er as in "err I'm mad".
3. What's with the weird outfits they wore when they were still VENT?
Jason wore all red, while Ben, Paul, and Jamin wore all black. According to Jason, it was the other guys idea and he wasn't really into it, although it was just something to do. Plus they stopped because it was a hassle to wash their clothes every night.
4. Is it true that AudioVENT is related to -
Yes. But it's the music that counts, not relations.
5. What are the guys e-mail addresses?
They had to take down their old ones because they were getting too many e-mails and too many IMs, making their computers freeze. When the guys tell us a public e-mail address, we will put it up here.
6. How long has AudioVENT been around?
They've been together since about 1992-93.
7. Who started the band?
Jason started the band. At his birthday party, he asked Paul if he wanted to start a band, and from then on, it's history.
8. Are Ben and Paul brothers?
Uh huh. To be more precise, they're stepbrothers.
9. Has AudioVENT had any previous band names?
They've gone through many band names before picking the right one. When they first started out, they were called "The Tourists". But as their style changed, they wanted to change their name to something that would fit better. So they changed it to VENT, then to AudioVENT.
10. Why is AudioVENT their current name?
They were VENT for a really long time. However, when they signed to Atlantic, they had to make sure that no one else had the name VENT. Unfortunately, there was a band called "The VENTs", so our boys had to change it to avoid any legal problems.
11. What are AudioVENT's birthdays and how old are they?
Jason (24) was born April 30, 1979. Ben (25) was born August 21, 1978. Paul (25) was born May 2, 1978. We don't have Ryland's info yet. Check out the Bio section for each of the guys.
12. I've heard about their CD called "Papa's Dojo" they released when they were still VENT. Where can I buy it?
Papa's Dojo was released either Nov 99 or Jan 00. They made 3000 copies, which are all sold out. You can buy them on E-bay when they show up every now and then, which they usually go for $60.
13. What is Jason saying in Gravity?
We still don't know. We're going to try and get an answer out of him.
14. Who is that guy on the cover of Papa's Dojo?
That would be Papa. At first he was rumored to be a psycho guy they found in the park who was willing to be on their CD cover, but later it was revealed that he is Jamin's Grandfather.
15. What's up with the title "Dirty, Sexy Knights in Paris"?
Apparently, it was just a random thing that Jamin said one day, and it stuck. But then Paul said it was an inside joke and it's too dirty to tell...
16. Where can I get AudioVENT merchandise?
Check the Merch link on this website. The official website also has the link to the stores.
17. What's with Jamin and legs?
Haha we don't know. We don't know.
18. Where can I find Dirty, Sexy Knights in Paris?
At your local CD retailers, go buy it now!
19. How do I meet the guys?
The AV boys are very sweet guys and aren't hard to meet. Usually at shows they'll come out after they play and sign stuff for fans at almost every one.

Did we miss anything? Is there a question not on here that you want answered? Please e-mail it to [email protected]

Ah, Hello? Ah, I'm here to tell you what's like to be a karate master. Ah, it's a very unusual occupation, and ah, I'm grateful that I have the physical, ah, attributes to become one. Ah, I think it's a great sport. And ah, I ah, I have been given a great opportunity to, ah, enlighten youthful people about the virtues of karate. It's not an aggressive sport, it's a defensive sport. It has such, ah -- you don't need to harm anybody, you just need to stop them. And I think that more people should -- should learn this -- this sport, ah, instead of resorting to guns and ah, other types of violence. So, ah, please, ah, if there's a karate instruction, ah, available at your community, please par take of it. Thank you.
OH, ok, ah -- thought you might like to know some of my experiences in 1600. Ah, in that time, violence was not what it is today. But in 1600, I was on a trip ship going from San Francisco to Australia. We didn't know where in Australia but at least I noticed there were all Army personnel and Navy Personnel on one great huge ship. And we were zig-zagging across the Pacific to a submarine attack. And in the course of my travels on that ship, ah, I befriended an Army nurse. And ah, I lost track of her after I went to Australia. But, ah, since I was in the navy, and she was in the Army, a lot of the Army Personnel got a little -- ah - F'd about it, and took umbrage with my attention to this army nurse. So I cried out to these Army guys, who were about, y'know, like, six foot five and 280 pounds that you better not toy around. I was a karate master, and a quite cool(?) one at that. So, ah, I put up my hands and sorta flaring them at the eye and they backed off.
(Other voice: What was the special word you said to them?)
F*** YOU.
