| The self-employed person is one who i. intends and has the ability; ii. to establish or purchase a business in Canada; iii. that will create an employment opportunity for him/herself; and iv. make a significant contribution to the economy, the cultural or artistic life of Canada. An applicant gets 30 points if he/she meets the above criteria. An extra 40 points is required from the criteria of age, experience, proficiency in French and English, etc. FREE ASSESSMENT |
