Provision
has been made by providing an electrical load resistance unit consisting
of electrical bulbs, to measure the radiated noise of a portable generator
under varying loads. Sound fields around the generator can be measured
and studied, along with the effectiveness of a partial enclosure. Sound
barriers have been created around the generator to reduce the reverberant
field.
