Some of the ‘women only’ programs attracts a fair number of non Muslim women which provides an opportunity for interaction between different cultural and religious groups.
IGWG has set up free legal service program open to all Australians by enlisting the services of Muslims legal professionals to address the myriads of problems affecting people in low socio economic areas.
IGWG pioneered a social welfare program by establishing a refuge for Muslim women.
IGWG is relentless in promoting multiculturalism. It holds an annual festival celebrating the end of the Holy Month of Ramadan. Ethnic groups from different cultures are invited to perform at the festival to showcase the diversity of the Australian population.
