Russian tea-drinking with grapes

Tea
with Mulled Wine
Pour
4 cups of strong tea into an enamel vessel, add 1 1/4 cups each of grape and
apple juice without pulp, 1 cup of sugar, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, 3 or 4 cloves
and 1/2 teaspoon of ginger and anise. Mix the ingredients, close the vessel
with a cover, and boil the mixture by the water-bath method for 30 minutes,
without reaching the boiling point. Pour into cups or goblets, add walnuts and
raisins. Tea with mulled wine is good during a dull weather.
