ABOUT ICP - CCC
Catholic Charismatic Renewal (CCR) is a spiritual movement that has existed within the Catholic Church since 1967. It emphasises the availability of the power and gifts of the Holy Spirit for all, and encourages a close personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It operates through local prayer groups, communities, ministries and services around the world
The IMMACULATE CONCEPTION PARISH CATHOLIC CHARISMATIC COMMUNITY or ICP - CCC is a parish-based spiritual organization that has existed in the parish since 1982. ICP - CCC just like the CCR emphasises the goodness of God, and proclaims, with the Church, that Gods grace is freely given to everyone. Jesus Christ fully revealed God, enabling each person to know God as good, as totally giving, and as one who shares fully in the human experience.
The experience of the first followers of Jesus was that they were empowered by God through the Holy Spirit to live a new kind of life life in a fuller dimension whereby Gods power worked in them and through them in order to bring Gods love and grace to all who would receive it. Essentially, it is this experience of God that is at the basis of the Catholic faith.
The Church has experienced through the centuries the power of God working in and through imperfect people, all seeking to know God. The ICP - CCC lies firmly within this tradition.
ICP - CCC continues its commitment of promoting renewal and formation programs and subdivided the jobs into different ministerial duties under the leadership of the CORE GROUP or the elders of the community. The community holds CATHOLIC LIFE IN THE SPIRIT SEMINAR (CLSS), BASIC CHRISTIAN MATURITY (BCM)Seminar, GROWTH in the SPIRIT (GIS) Seminar as part of its regular formation activities under the EDUCATION MINISTRY. There is a regular prayer meeting every Friday to live a life closer to GOD in which members of the community share coomon mission to be light and salt of the earth. There are also HEALING MASS and HEALING MINISTRY every first Friday of the month for brethren who seek healing physically and spiritually. Friday is the devoted to the SACRED HEART OF JESUS for most of the parishioners therefore it would be a best day for everyone to attend this celebration since a HOLY HOUR is held before the mass. This moment is a time for every brethren to listen to GOD's message.
