Back to The Terminator

orn on the 12th February Aquarius in Dudley in the West Midlands, Rob is the newest and the youngest member of the ICENI tribe. He was bought in to replace Seb on guitars when Seb switched to playing bass (his rightful place). Rob showed very little interest in music until his early teens when he was turned on (musically speaking!) by Bon Jovi's "Slippery When Wet" album, Queen, and AC/DC's "Whole lotta Rosie".

The Terminator

Rob took up guitar in 1990 encouraged by a friend of his whom was a Drummer, though has only recently decided to concentrate his efforts into music. Having been to Art College Rob moved to Norfolk in '93 and after staging a few art exhibitions enrolled on a popular music course in '97. This allowed Rob the opportunity to put all his energy into making music in a professional environment and provided the impetus to explore different styles and forms of music.

A sweaty Terminator

Rob's extensive musical influences include Jimi Hendrix, Steve Vai, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Kate Bush, David Bowie, Robert Johnson, B.B.King, Tori Amos, Queen, Skunk Anansie, Septultura, Babybird, Nirvana, P.J.Harvey, Metallica, Gary Moore, Portishead, Albert Collins, Pulp, Billy Bragg, his wife Lenny, Iwan Roberts and the Barclay enders (it’s a football thing!), his cats and himself.
