The CW Indoor Colorguard Ensemble has, in three seasons, begun a tradition of performing shows that its members hope are both entertaining and leave our audience with a good feeling. This year, we began thinking about show ideas shortly after September 11, and we unanimously agreed our show should reflect our feelings of patriotism. In our desire to do this while still striving to be entertaining, we considered many show ideas and pieces of music that could have become good shows. But, it is the arrangement of AMERICA (as performed by Natalie Cole, Patti LaBelle, and Sheila E.) that gave us goose bumps, filled us with excitement, and proclaimed our pride in who we are!
Staff include Hope L. Guistwite, Director; Jeffrey W. Kulp, Drill Design and Instruction; and Kim Bressler, Instructor. Katie Penta is the Guard Captain, assisted by Mallory Bressler and Amanda Guistwite. The guard is comprised of students, grades 9-12, who thank everyone involved for their support. Parents, administrators, custodians, bus drivers, and countless others have given of themselves to help us reach our potential. Our goal is that, in our fourth year of performing, we will continue to make the most of every opportunity we have to better ourselves, and that in doing so, you will be entertained and filled with the same pride we feel! Enjoy AMERICA!
