Batman: Illustrated by Neal Adams Vol. 2 HC

Over the years, many artists have defined the look of one of the most iconic characters in popular culture -- DC Comics' Batman. Of all of them, perhaps the most influential is Neal Adams, who began drawing the Caped Crusader just as he was in danger of disappearing into a black hole of TV-inspired campiness and Pop Art oblivion. Adams' art returned Batman to his urban crime roots, putting him back in the shadows and rehabilitating his image for a new generation of fans. Joining Adams in the Batman renaissance was writer Denny O'Neil, who crafted stories to match the look and feel of the Darknight Detective's gothic roots. Inker Dick Giordano also helped refine the look and together the trio set a new standard for Batman comics. Now, for the first time, all of Neal Adams' Batman work--covers and stories--is being chronologically collected.
