How can you help ?

The sky is the limit for ideas of how you can help. From pens and writing pads to rebuilding classrooms or volunteering your time for the benefit of the children now under the care of the school. The children need: decent classrooms, books, pencils, balls to play with, musical instruments, garden tools, your time etc. Teachers need cash for teaching supplies that the school cannot provide and support for continuing education/trainings, to keep them abreast of teaching trends.  Following are more suggestions on how you can help support our goals: Make a contribution, Volunteer your time, Donate useful items, Tell your friends about us.

Make a Contribution
Quality education depend so much on donations. True wherever you are, true also in ASM.  All contributions - regardless of amount - make a big difference to the children. ASM accepts gifts through checks as well as gifts of stock. To make a gift online contact any ASMECFO member at [email protected] or go
here  for ASM PNB dollar and peso account number.

Donate Equipment or Services
Gifts-in-kind of gently-used office, classroom and outdoor sports equipment/supplies (balls, softball mits, uniforms etc.) are greatly appreciated. Please email [email protected] to inquire about donations of services or used items. Remember the 3 R's: reduce, recycle, reuse!

Volunteer
If you have the means to transport donated items to Bontoc please email us. We are always looking for the cheapest ways to deliver our goods. Take advantage of the allowable check-in baggage when you travel to the Philippines and deliver our donations to the school. Computer expert? Or still learning? Help us update our website, write articles for our news page. If you are in or near Bontoc and a handyman, contact the school for ways you can help with school repairs, minor upgrades and the like. Teaching extra-curricular activities is a great volunteer work too. Students also can help by giving us ([email protected]) feedback on the products they receive and updates on how school is doing. Donors like to know that what they shared went to those that needed it..

Tell Your Friends About Us
ASMECFO is an online community based nonprofit. If you know someone who might be interested in helping out with any of the above, please tell them about this website and the school. The more we get together the more we can do.
