Woke up early in the morning in order to catch the bus to Gaiman for the Gymanfa Ganu, only for Granny to tell me that she had arranged a lift and I was welcome to that.

Good news for my tired body as I went back to bed for another hour!

Maybe I should have taken the bus though as when we arrived at Gaiman just in time for the start of the service, the chapel was rammed with people outside.

Granny and friends got in, and presumably got a seat, while I decided to stuff it for a game of soldiers and went for a walk into town, picking up a newspaper to read.

I went back and sat outside the chapel, meeting a variety of people who had also turned up late, and having a good chinwag.

After the service, we all headed over to an asado in the Gimnasio Municipal, where I sat and chatted with some tourists from Anglesey, as well as Bruno again.

The afternoon passed quite quickly, with some very nice salad on offer, and I left at about 4ish, with Granny wanting to go home and have a siesta after the excersions of the last 24 hours.

We got back half an hour later and I went for a quick kip, getting up later on to go and meet Hywel and Pete at around 8ish at their hotel.

We walked around the block a few times to try and find somewhere that was open, but nothing was, and we decided that we werent actually very hungry anyway, so I went off to the cybercafe for a while before we met up again at 9:30, heading toward the Chateaux Vieux for dinner, bizarrely bumping into Gareth from Creigiau with Lynne from Scotland and, separately, Karen Davies and her boyfriend. Small city.

After dinner, Pete went off to bed while Hywel and I wandered around to San Javiers for a few beers and a discussion on palm-reading and palmology. Not that I can remember quite how my lifeline and headline work after a few jars.

Got home at the surprisingly late hour of 4am. Not sure how that happened!
