Having had a full night`s sleep, I was easily up in time for chapel on Sunday morning. It was a different day to usual, with the normal service taking place between 10 and 11 and then being followed by a special service to celebrate Mother`s Day.

A very touching thought, but not a great deal of good for the Welsh tourists who had expected a service, or at least a Sunday school in Welsh. Still, at least they got some jam out of it.

After the service finshed, I went with Granny, Granny`s sister and Neved to Casa de Juan, where we had some lunch, all four of us ending up with some vegetable cannelonis with a white sauce of some sort.

We finished food at around 2-ish and went off to the house to sleep it off during the siesta.

Following the siesta, I went to check my e-mails and found that Pete and Hywel had arrived in Trelew at the Hotel Centenario. After flicking through all of my stuff, I went off to the hotel to see them.

They weren`t in when I got there, but as I turned to leave a breathless Hywel explained that they had sat in the cafe across the road so that they could see me arrive.

We went off back to Mi Ciudad for a coffee, annoying the locals that were watching the Boca game on the tv in the corner.

After that we went round to Fontana to get some food. Margaritas was the first point of call, but was pronounced "dead" by Hywel and Pete, so we went to the similarly not happening German restaurant, Allgemein, across the road.

The food there wasnt bad, but it didn`t have the best of atmospheres.

In any case, though, it was quiet enough for us to discuss my work so far, and their plans for the next few weeks, a discussion which carried on with a few twists and turns around the corner at San Javier over a Quilmes or two.
