I have data. I am a real academic. Honest. Not just some sponger. Probably.

Got up before nine o`clock, which confused the breakfast as much as it did me, and went out to distribute and collect questionnaires.

Went to the Welsh classes in the morning, to the gym before lunchtime (with the questionnaires, not for a session), then went and had a quick siesta which was interrupted by people wanting to talk about the questionnaire.

After all that, I met up with Juan in the early afternoon in SJ`s to have a coffee and an "intercambio" session. Juan is from Esquel and moved here with his mother last year. We had the usual natter about what I`m doing here, coerced a few people around us to complete qaires, and then drifted off into the music discussion (Juan likes Rammstein and Franz Ferdinand).

Following the drinking of too much coffee, I went to the cyber-cafe to get some more help with my questionnaires. To fill the time in between getting responses from people, I sat there with the staff and drank more and more coffee. Caffeine rush!

In one of those, "actually, when you think about it, of course it makes sense" moments, I knew one of the supposedly quite random members of the cybercafe community, having met her (Eleri, I think her name is) at a family gathering over the last few weeks. That was nice, so we had a bit of a convo about this and that while badgering others to complete the qaire.

More Welsh classes, more chat with people, more explanation.

Oooh, I have questionnaires! Ooooh, I have responses! Ooooh, this music`s good, what is it? Time to dance around the room. Too much coffee, methinks.

Then home for food and a very early night! Knackered!
