I was a bit short on sleep from the night before, but both Rhian and myself made it to chapel in the morning, and then went for a pick-me-up coffee afterwards.

Calling it a pick-me-up is a bit of a lie, I think, as after the drink and realising that there was no football matches anywhere in walking distance, I decided to hit the sheets again.

I didnt wake up again until gone 6, so I went to the internet cafe and checked my e-mail as usual then went back home for dinner.

That left me with the choice of going to bed early or going out and finding something to do.

The cinema, once again, came to my rescue, with a 10 oclock showing of The Day After Tomorrowor El Dia Despues De Maana, which, once again, I had already seen in English, but now had the chance to see once again with Spanish subtitles (as opposed to the many dubbed films which Id been watching before).

The cinema was heaving, but I got a seat right next to the wall. Obviously, the film didnt surprise me, but what did surprise me was getting Mondays paper on the way home.

The problem with having a siesta is that you still have additional energy in the evening, so I had problems sleeping and sat there reading some more of the difficult and complex short stories from Borges in order to get my eyelids to close.
