LISA LOMBARDO
I first met Lisa when our then-bands, the Tommyknockers and the Gargoyles played together at the Coconut Teaszer in the 80's. We became fast friends and kept in touch and played a number of shows together whenever the TK's went to SF (where the Gargoyles were from) or they came to LA. When Lisa split from the Gargoyles, Jeff Dahl decided to put her out on his Ultra Under Label ( www.lastbandit.com/jeffdahl ). Lisa recruited me on lead guitar, Gargoyles bassist Julia Alstatt and her boyfriend at the time, Dan Limerick to play drums. We recorded the above CD and the single shown below, but never did any shows. In fact, I'm not sure if any of these songs were ever played live! But these are great punk/rock/pop songs with a lot of energy and super female vocals! Lisa has since made several moves and has changed her musical style.
