GAME
CONSOLE SHOWDOWN:
PS2 VS X-BOX
PS2
Pros:
So much happiness from such a small black box. It's the most
popular console, so it's also the most widespread and you can
find games for it everywhere. There are more great games
out there than you can conceivably play and more are being
developed every day. It isn't fair.
Cons:
The PS2 was the first of the next-generation consoles to
come out. It has less processing power and less impressive
graphics compared to the XBox and even Nintendo's Game
Cube.
X-BOX
Pros:
The XBox is hands down, the best gaming machine in the
market. It has the most processing power, and the graphics
are just downright gorgeous. So of course, games that are on
both the PS2 and the XBox are better on the XBox.
Cons:
Hardware isn't everything. Once upon a time, the only game
worth playing on the XBox was Halo. Still deep pockets do
count for something. The killer games are slowly trickling in.
THE
WINNER: PS2
It's about games, right? And this is where the PS2 rules. Don't
expect the XBox to take it sitting down though. It's fast
gaining in popularity.
