Kodak Easyshare LS743
P24,900

Pros:
Simple to use. Optical viewfinder.
Good in pictures in proper lighting
conditions

Cons:
Not ver portable. Clumsy Navigation

Sony DSC-T1 Cybershot
P39,999

Pros:
High image resolution. Big LCD
viewfinder. Impressive camera functionality.
3x optical zoom.

Cons:
Rather sluggish behavior. Clumsy menu
presentation.

Canon Ixus i
P24,500

Pros:
Features heavy. Great point-and-shoot camera.
High image quality. Ideal for close-ups

Cons:
No optical zoom. Small viewfinder. No optical
zoom (yeah, it had to be repeated)

THE VERDICT:
If you're worried about making the most out of your money, look
to Canon. The Ixus delivers high quality images and an
uncompromised feature set at an extremely attractive price. If
you are really going to miss the optical zoom however (which I
remedy with something called my two feet) the Easyshare would
be a neat solution without pilfering your pocket. However, if
money is truly no object you will not go wrong with a Cybershot.
