(IJH) Why do I punish myself like this ?? Last night envitably turned into a bit of a session down Darling Harbour and now I'm paying for it !! It was Jess's send off last night as she left early this morning to go up the coast on Oz Experience (hope you're enjoying it Jess!) Currently sat in work writing this up feeling less than great - and we're all supposed to be out tonight for Helen's birthday (HAPPY 25th BIRTHDAY HELEN) so I foresee more pain over the weekend trying to recover. Started out as a nice quiet drink outside the Opera House (great view of the Opera House on one side and the Bridge on the other) then over to Darling Harbour for drinks in Cargo and Watershed bars...I can remember how I got home last night ....bugger..
Yesterday I managed the ultimate in slackness in work as neither the other temp (Huw) or the boss were in - I ended up coming in half an hour late (0830), and then taking an hour and half for lunch as I caught up with Nicki. I then thought right - get my head down and do what I have to get done before Monday and the boss's return - looking down at my watch later I thought 'Blimey it's 1635!' (I wanted to leave at half four) so I shut down all the computers and rushed to the bus and home only to look at my watch when I got off and discovered it was 4pm, so I had managed to leave at half three not half four - Whoops ! oh well they don't appear to have noticed anyway....ahhh almost the weekend....mmmmmm sleeeeeep........ |
