| In the beginning of last year, before Forty-Five Minutes from Broadway, our goal for the year was to put the Drama Club on the map. The success of the show, along with avid devotion from club members and officers, Drama Club has been placed on the proverbial map with flashing arrows marking its place. At the first meeting, and several meetings since then, membership has seemingly doubled from just a year ago. We hope to be even more successful this year. |

| Excitement is already brewing in the air over the upcoming auditions for the musical that Drama Club plans to put on this year, Grease. Many student actors and actresses will be needed in order to put on the show, and dedicated students to work backstage are key elements to the show also. I can say first-hand that being on stage is exciting and exhilarating, but being backstage is great if you're just not ready for the spotlight. Being a part of a play or musical is a big commitment, but your effort is repayed a hundred times. You have a great time while doing something productive, pardon the pun, and you make lasting friendships. So really, why not? |
