The Murderer: Zeus con Stone Record / Prius: This was Mr con Stone's second attempt at killing the Target -- that first event occurring 5 years ago after an aikido training. The unsuspecting target was walking off the tatami (area for fighting), when the crime was attempted. In colaboration with Kharon al Nera (likewise uncaught), they made their move: under the guise of a tryout for a 2nd dan level exercise, Mr al Nera hurled Mr con Stone at Ms Sapphire 's leg (probably in hopes of eliciting a leg break and an internal bleeding, leading to subject's death). Ms Sapphire then survived with a mere THREE-way-ligament-damage (partially torn ligaments on right ankle's front, back, and outer side). Attempt 2004. Nov 1: The attempt made on All Hallow's Eve was far more drastic. Mr con Stone must be nearing a deadline, for he took to arms. In the department of Paul Wittgen (comrade to target's brother) he took an AK-47 bayonet, and under the guise of an unsuspecting move, "accidentally" hit Ms Sapphire. Eye witness Agent B reports: "He worked professionally - he's an expert. As the host, Mr Wittgen, introduced us into his house, he told stories of the antiquities stored there. Many military men had been among his predecessors, and most were generals, cavalrymen, etc. The weapon in question was hanging on the wall to observe it. The bayonet was folded back on his lower arm, and the blade merely surpassed his forearm by 3-4 cms. He was not facing Ms Sapphire, in fact, he was about face. Ms Sapphire was approximately 2 meters from the suspect, when she indicated to me that I should follow his moves, and "observe his expertise" (cite from target). Ms Sapphire accompanied her sentence with a bodily move: streching her right arm towards Mr con Stone, who then took the opportunity, and (without looking back) stabbed backwards, thereby taking Ms Sapphire and myself, Agent B, by surprise. As I was to her right, I could not spot the wound, and since Ms Sapphire made no scream, or any indication that she was in pain, I did not even notice what happened. When Ms Sapphire finally said that she had been hit (abou 5-6 seconds had passed with her trying to stop her bleeding) I provided first aid. Mr con Stone had fallen into a shock (probably on account of his faliure to dispose of the target once more) and panicked lightly as I tended to Ms Sapphire's wounds."
Case 0037284: Agents, your task is to secure victim / target at all cost. Organized 24 hr surveilance is required by Agent T, and Agent B. Target is advised to be kept on Base Alpha, where the Mother Ship can provide emergency aid should the target's health make a turn for the worst again. Target may relocate herself to Base Beta, but Agent B is advised to run out the K9 units in advance.
Health Status: Bleeding has been contained; the target's state was stabilized by Agent B and Target's cooperation (first aid) -- though outside help was required (ambulance; hospital). At the Hospital, Agent B surveilled target during treatment: X-ray; operation (disinfection; manual wound surveillance /yes, the doctor rummaged around under her skin with his fingers!/; 8 stiches; bandages;) and a tetanus injection. Day2: Fever of 39.5; small swollenness; fine wound regeneration. Day3: Accident at Base Alpha: Target fell holding herself with the injured hand... after an hour, small amount of swollenness & blue undertone of skin towards the elbow... (loooser)l
The Murder Weapon: AK-47 bayonet
The Scandal: Alpha Base Chief reports: The repeated attempts at killing Ms Sapphire seem to unveil a scandalous ring of thugs. Comparing the database, the Agency's files reveal that aside from the 2 attempts -- the first, by Mr al Nera and Mr al Nera's best friend, Mr con Stone; then the second by Mr con Stone alone -- mentioned, there was another attempt previously this year. Under the guise of a "simple misunderstanding" an automated droid was programmed to eliminate the target this spring. The unified forces of Agents T and Cs were needed at the crime-scene, and the incident was resolved without casualties. The droid was detained, and better than ever, running with a new program: So much so, that Ms Sapphire assigned the robot to be her personal bodyguard and masseur. Nevertheless, the frequency of the attacks on the target are becoming more frequent, therefore, all Agents are advised to - keep a sharp lookout; - recruit newbie Agents as many as possible, ASAP; (apply here!) - figure out a plan for keeping target safe in public (with special attention to the university!)
