KRAWKS 101--Social habits of Neopian Krawks

Krawks--one of Neopias highest status symbols. They are described as loyal creatures with an appetite for mischief and a very vicious bite. As of 5:30 PM (NST) on April 9, there are 603 Krawks in Neopia, and they make up approximately .01% of all Neopets in creation. Krawks (the PetPet) are selling for up to 1.5 MILLION NP on the Trading Post! (Thats more NP than I ever expect to see at once in my lifetime!)

Krawks seem to always be in an adventure of some sort. Theyre fun-loving and humorous. If you own one, he or she would never want to be alone; theyd want to be with a group of their closest friends. I think Krawks resemble me on the relationship front... what they lack in size, they double in personality! Does your Krawk call her best friend Mudpants? Im sure theres a funny explanation about that one!

A Krawks taste in food can very greatly. One day, shell be stuffing her face with nutritious organic broccoli and leeks, and the next day your Krawk will be swallowing sweets from the Chocolate Factory in one (rather large) gulp. Sometimes both genders of Krawk are likely to lack enough vitamins, so itd be in your best interest to help them along by buying vitamin supplements from the Heath Food Store. If they didnt get outside as much as they do, theyd be fat...

Which brings me to another entertaining thought--exercise! Krawks love to run around outside, playing games like pretending theyre the Sakhmet royals and lets-knock-the-old-Gelert-into-the-mud-and-see-how-far-hell-chase-us-before-he-gives-up. Your Krawk is liable to get carried away with his or her game, sometimes unable to distinguish the difference between whats real and whats play.

Krawks love toys--the bigger, the better! A Big n Bouncy Toy will delight your Krawk to know end (until it bursts... :\), but subtle plushies will also do the trick. But dont buy your Krawk an abacus or building blocks... theyll be considered boring and way too intellectual for their liking. Krawks also have expensive taste (maybe its their nature!).. the plastic Wand of Ultranova they lust after for Christmas (or whatever else you celebrate in the winter season) is a wish best left not granted.

Krawks have never struck me as the intellectual type of pet, unlike scholarly Aishas, Scorchios, and Gelerts. I suppose you could tell your darling NeoPet to read, but youd have to satiate his or her thirst for adventure with their thirst for knowledge and intellect. Genres I would recommend are mysteries, creative, crafty, and adventure-themed. Books Id bet a Krawk would love are A Chia Halloween, Chia Art History, Uni Myths, and Zafara Crossword Puzzles.

So now that you know what a Krawk is like, would you be interested in buying one? If you bought one, what would you do with it? Stayed tuned for your next lesson, KRAWKS 202!

(Note: I dont actually have a Krawk, so this article was written for pleasure only. I have no idea what a Krawk is really like! Sorry! I tried!)
