All creation is done according to Laws of the Night, with the following exceptions ;

Attributes
          Attribute Traits are straight numbers; you do not name each Trait.
          Negative Traits must be named and are used normally.

Abilities
          Characters start with 15 points for Abilities.
          There is no limit to the number of Abilities a character may have.
          No single Ability may have more than 5 points invested in it.

Disciplines
          No Kindred may start with out-of-clan Disciplines. Some Clans and Bloodlines have the option of starting with alternative sets of Disciplines. These are listed
Here.
          Out-of-clan Disciplines may not equal or exceed the highest level of in-clan Discipline possessed. Some Disciplines are further restricted in availability or level.

Backgrounds
          Each character starts at 13th Generation. This may be lowered with Background points, but no lower than 8th Generation. Each Generation background costs 2 points. All other backgrounds cost 1 point.

Willpower
          No character may ever have more than 10 Willpower, regardless of Generation. Also, all characters may have up to 10 Willpower, regardless of Generation.

Derangements
          Characters may not have more than one Derangement, except for Malkavians, who may have two Derangements in addition to their required one.
