(Updated!!!)
FAQ's
Q : Can I use a character I already have from the Camarilla LARP, or do I have to make a new one?

A : You can use an old character from the Cam, but I don't think it would be smart to use an active character. Better to use one that got retired/killed/whatever. Just make sure it operates under the MET rules and the Chronicle's special rules (i.e. nothing lower that 8th generation, no elder powers, etc, unless you've got a REALLY good explaination).

Q : Do I have to play a Giovanni? (Updated!!!)

A : I am making a change. You do not have to be a Giovanni, but any non-Giovanni will be considered to be Piciotto or Sgarrista in the Family's employ. Any type of clan/bloodline/whatever is okay (except for those mentioned in the Clans and Disciplines page). Just use a little common sense. If it's not going to work well with the other characters, it's probably not a good idea to play it.

Q : Can I play something other than a vampire?

A : This is a loaded question. Say no and I've shot the Pope. Say yes and everybody wants to play a Mokole Abomination with True Magik and a horde of demon servants.

I'd rather wait until the chronicle gets a little more develped before introducing Garou, Fae, Mages, and the rest. However, if you're patient, then yes, you can play almost anything you want. And remember, I'll be needing people to play NPC's, and some of them are a little "special".

Q : Will my Camarilla Member Class tranfer into the new game?

A : HELL NO!!! M-C is the worst bastardized whore of an idea I ever saw and will never EVER be allowed in my game! In the Giovanni Chronicle, we prefer that everyone have a good time, not just the people with MC swing.

Q : How do I learn a Discipline if I can't find another player who's willing to teach me?

A : It depends on the Discipline. Some don't require a teacher, some require tutor-support, and some require intense instruction. But, if it requires a teacher and another character isn't willing to teach you, try finding an NPC. In fact, an NPC might be a better choice since almost all of them have more developed abilities than the PC's. Look at the update in Clans and Disciplines for details.

Q : Can I play a were-turtle?

A : No.   And stop smoking toothpaste.

Q : How much XP can I expect to get during a game?

A : The average is around five. Here's how I'm figuring XP...
Showed up and played   =   1
                    Role-played well   =   1
                    Stayed in-character the whole night   =   1
                    Dressed character-appropriate   =   1
                    Accomplished a plot goal   =   1-3
                    Completed major plotline   =   1-5
Arbitrary awards   =   whatever I feel like at the time.

Further FAQ's will be added as I remember to put them in.
