| I think most everyone will agree that Mother Earth and All of her inhabitants are in the midst of a major shift on every level. The water that runs through her veins is polluted because of centuries of disrespect and abuse of her resources. No matter where you live, you will have heard of lakes and rivers becoming choked with odorous algae and weeds. It has become abundantly clear that we must do something very different if we hope to leave a healthy and balanced planet to our Children and Grandchildren. As EarthKeepers, and we all hold that title, we have the power to assist Mother Earth in her transition through re-birth. Our true power lies in creating a clear Vision of the World we intend to leave as a legacy to our future generations. The purpose of this gathering is to raise an awareness of the power we as EarthKeepers hold in our hearts to co-create a new Vision and Dream of balance and beauty for Mother Earth. Our Visions will be created through love, joy, respect and pure intent. We will spend the day in prayer, ceremony, dance, song, meditation and visualization. These are the very powerful tools we will use at this Earth Medicine Gathering on May 10, 2008. We invite YOU, as EarthKeepers, to participate, whether in Spirit or in Person. The power of our Prayers and Visions will be amplified exponentially by your participation. IT IS SO!! Please come out to exercise your role as EarthKeeper! THE STORY BEHIND THE GATHERING This gathering was birthed through the power of Prayer. Prayers asking for answers to how we can best help and support Mother Earth through this time of rebirth. Prayers asking what we can do to remedy the dis-ease of the water that runs through the veins of Mother Earth. Prayers asking what we can All do to leave a safe and healthy planet for our Children and Grandchildren. As usual, those prayers were answered through numerous synchronicities, coincidences, and messages from Spirit. The answers that came were not a surprise, but instead a remembering of what is already known deep within our hearts. "Ask and then Trust that the answers will be provided." What is required of us is to have a leap of faith. There was also a strong message of the necessity of Partnerships -- of bringing people together for a common purpose and goal. This is what gave Birth to the Earth Medicine Gathering. SCIENCE AND SPIRITUALITY ARE MERGING We are now in an age where science and spirituality are coming together. A passage from a book entitled Zero Point Energy (ZPE) - The Fuel of the Future, by Thomas Valone, quotes from the Non-Local Universe, "From our newly gained knowledge of ZPE, we can add to that the entanglement of virtual particles, the connectedness of everything and everybody in the universe with every other body becomes a physics principle instead of an esoteric belief. For those looking to connect physics and consciousness this can be a rich starting place for fruitful discussions and even theoretical calculations, as Nadeau and Kafatos suggest." |
