| 1. What should I bring with me to the Gathering? Women must wear a skirt or wrap. Bring your Drum and/or Shaker. For the Journey we will be lying on the ground for a bit, so it is important that you are very warm and comfortable. It may still be a little cool or wet on the ground in early May, so it is very important to bring a small tarp, a warm blanket and a pillow to lie on. If you have a large tarp then bring it along to share with those that don't have their own. Thanks! For the GiveAway you may bring something new or recycled that you feel someone else would appreciate. For the Feast, you should bring your feast plate, cup and cutlery. Bring your favourite food, salad, or casserole to the feast -- something that does not need preperation, mixing or heating on that day -- picnic style. If your feast food requires cooling you will need to keep it in your own cooler until Feast time. Feast time is 11:20 AM. Bring a lawn chair as it will be a long day and it is important that you are comfortable. If there is a river, stream or lake in your area that is suffering, then bring a small sealed vial of that water to the Gathering so it may be blessed at the Water Ceremony. The blessed water must then be taken back to its original source. You should come prepared for any sort of weather. There will be a 20' x 30' open-sided tent, with a tarp on the ground, as well as the Arbour, but you should also bring warm clothing and rain gear -- just in case. 2. Who can come to this Gathering? EVERYONE is welcome -- men, women and children. 3. What about drinking water? Our Committee will be supplying clean, healthy Spring Water at the Gathering. We feel it is important not to promote bottled water. The water will come from a Spring-fed well in the area. 4. How can I help?? Spread the word!! Some of us have paid expenses out of our own pockets so we will ask for a small donation from everyone at the Gathering to help defer those expenses. Thank you!
