Eve was only a type of what the church is supposed to be. When there was no one to do it, God Himself put upon Himself the vail and image of flesh and called it His own image and came to this earth. He did not just go through the motions.

Somehow when we were fallen in sin, God had to get there. But, wait a minute, the Spirit could not go, but the body -
Jesus Christ -the Word made flesh could go, and down He went to the same level; He who knew no sin. Jesus who had never committed sin; He who had never done any wrong became our sin. "For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him" (II Corinthians 5:21) Why would God do such a thing? So that He could come down to our level and reach out to us with open arms and say, if you are thirsty I will give you water to drink "And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely" (Revelation 22:17) The Lamb was slained so that you and I could be allowed to be brought back to God, through that bloody vail of Calvary and wash us and make us whiter than snow. To present us holy in the presence of our heavenly Father. It was done through the bloody body of the Father in the Son. He became our sin.

The first man Adam sinned. The second man Adam - Jesus Christ became sin. The second man Adam became sin before the first man Adam sinned. The second Adam was a resurrection of something that had not even yet been made. Have you ever wondered why Jesus said,
"I am the first and the last" "And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead.  And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last" (Revelation 1:17)
