| Sonic 2 is perhaps the best in the whole of the original series. This game presented elements that would be reused again and again in future games. This was the first game to feature the Spindash. A move that would have been good to have in Sonic 1. This was also the very first game featuring the deformed boy fox, Miles 'Tails' Prower. Because of him there was the extra option of two player game. It was a race to the finish and if you were tails you still couldn't fly however. But the game was fun anyway. In one player mode you could also have second person play Tails. But he was a lot slower then sonic and the first player tended to run off leaving Tails behind. You then had to wait ages for him to come back. Still it's a very good game and i play it every now and then on my emulator. |
