Here are some pictures of HSC qualifying on our weapons. We do this on an annual basis. We qualified on the M16 rifle, the M203 grenade launcher, the M249(Squad Automatic Weapon), the M9 pistol, and the M2(50 cal machine gun). Everyone did a good job this weekend. We got a lot of maintenance done and we worked to get some of our old, outdated equipment ready for transport so we can turn it in for recycle. LTC Ward was interviewed by

The following drill plan was for Convoy Training and troop movement during enemy hostile activity.
As Commander of HSC, I have been very pleased with the performance of the soldiers. Our goal is to complete each mission to the best of our ability. And, if everything goes right, we'll surpass the line companies in doing so. Cudos to the soldiers in HSC for their recent efforts. Together, I hope to build a strong, cohesive unit that has the experience and initiative to overcome any mission.
