On July 30, 2005, Saturday, Missouris own 203rd Charlie (C) Company
out of Monett wanted to do something nice to say,
Thank You!
to the community
for supporting them during their deployment to Iraq.
So they decided to host a free carwash on the parking lot of Wal-Mart.
People couldnt believe their eyes that somebody was actually offering a
FREE carwash.
Although, the folks were surprised,
the 203rd guys had a wonderful turnout.

When talking with the officer in charge,
Sergeant First Class (SFC) D. Neyer,
he encouraged the owner of the last car of the day to pull forward so
the National Guard could give her a free car wash
in appreciation for supporting the 203rd Engineers.
He said they could get it washed in three minutes or less.
The owner timed the guys at 1:48 minutes.
Way to go guys!!!

The owner of that car is quoted as saying,
My car hasnt looked this good
since the day the car dealer handed me the keys!
Her daughter also said,
I wonder if the 203rd handled all their jobs in Iraq like this!
No wonder they're so good!
From start to finish, the 203rd guys tackled this car just as theyve done all of their missions
with teamwork, speed,
accuracy, quality, & courtesy.

Even though this was a day for the 203rd to say thanks to the community,
the community would like to say "Thank You 203rd!"
for everything you've done for
us, the nation & the world.
We appreciate you all!
GO DAWGS!!!
