Fate : Strange Occurances by Grognard (4/7/2001)
Grognard sat in his throne, pondering over the strange events that had happened in the past few days. "Perhaps i may think more clearly in my hometown", Grognard Left the Castle and began his travel to his hometown Stonebow Dale.
Grognard came to the town of New Thalos, and thought to himself "This will take forever".
Grognard Continued walking till he came to the crossroads, which he had some connection with from his past lifetime.
He began chanting some words, not of magic, but strange words indeed....... Grognard Materialized out of this plane of existance into his own plane, the plane of the dead.
He then Mounted his Undead Dragon Hellfire, and continued towards Stonebow Dale, as he approached the town, he noticed a strange object moving through the town towards the church.
Although he could not really see it as a physical object, more so as looking through heat from a flame. and he remembered that invisibilities spells when viewed from this world were distorted like this. "At Least whatever it is can not see me while i am in this plane, Hellfire Land behind the church".
Grognard Dismounted his Dragon, and materialized back into the realm of the living. he walked around looking for a window, as he came to it he could not see inside it was dark, "Good this will do fine"
Grognard Phased through the church walls, into the dark shadows within the church. Grognard Could see something within the church, it did not smell of the living, "Perhaps Undead or a Machine" Grognard Whispered to himself. Grognard Got closer to the object or creature, floating just above the floor as to make no sound, Grognard thinks to himself yet again "This looks like Lady Sharp, but why would she come to a place such as this".
Fate : A Quiet Moment by Sharp (4/9/2001)
Sharp and Ventor sat in the overgrown grass, reliving old memories, catching up on eachother's lives. They both knew that there was more to be said than the trivial topics that they glazed over. Eventually, Ventor, summoning the power to move the conversation on, took a deep breath and told Sharp why he came to find her...

"Sharp, it's so clear to me now that our lives have moved in very different direction, I never wanted to actually believe it, but today I do. You do love your life now more than you ever have, yes?"
Sharp's face lit up "Oh yes, Ventor, yes! Being a Nightmare is all that I dreamed it would be, and so much more. I know you will never understand it."
"Sharp, I have to ask you, to clear it up once and for all, to allow my heart to rest, is there anything of the old Sharp inside you? Will we ever live as we did?".
Sharp rested back on her hands, repositioning herself, "Ventor, the day I asked you to leave the Guardians and join me in my church was the day I knew deep down that we could never really be husband and wife again. You love your home and family and I have found Nisstyre and his stupendous Nightmares. I know why you turned my offer down, even though part of me was broken on that day." Sharp moved closer to her estranged husband, tenderly (as tenderly as a pod can) touching his unfamiliar, but strangely well known forehead.
Ventor looked up at the hulking podrikev, chuckling, he lightened the moment with his well known humour. "I could never get used to you looking like a trash can anyway."
They laughed together as Ventor lay back in the long grass, thoughtfully crossing his arms behind his head. "Then what of you and this Sorannon fellow? My word I'd like to meet him one day."

Considering Ventor's question very carefully, Sharp got a very strange feeling. Her inbuilt porikev sensing machanism beeped furiously. There was someone approaching, and there was another presence around the immediate area too...

Standing quickly, she reached for her daggers. Ventor sat up, looking around nervously. "What is it Sharp?" "I think someone is coming."
Fate : Full Circle by Seive (4/9/2001)
Seive stood outside the quaint little church, listening to the two voices laugh together. Walking in without trying to be sneaky, he saw them sitting together, chatting happily.
Though he hadn't snuck in, they were too caught up talking to notice him. All of a sudden, Ventor appeared to ask a difficult question, and there was an odd silence.
Sharp jumped up, unsheathing her daggers, and scanning the area, and Ventor did the same.
Slowly Sharp's scanning gaze fell on him, and Seive stepped out of the shadows. Their eyes met, and locked in to each other. Sharp's face relaxed, and she lowered her weapons.
Ventor looked from his former wife, to the large figure Podrikev, his polished armor glistening in the sunlight.
He sensed some kind of connection, a deep connection between the two... Ventor chuckled. "And this, I presume, is the infamous Seive Sorannon."
Seive was completely lost in Sharp's eyes, he did not notice Ventor was even there.
Sharp too, could not break the gaze, but felt Ventor slowly fade into the background. "I, uh, I was just here...thinking, I uh, didn't think, you..uh, would find me so soon..." Sharp stammered.
Seive slowly walked up to Sharp, and gave his flowing cloak a flourish in the slight breeze as he slowly circled Sharp, his eyes never leaving hers.
Sharp broke eye contact as the sun reflected off of Seive's armor and hit her in the eye. Her head lowered, her shoulders sagged, as she stared at the lush green grass below them.
"Sharp...."
"Seive, I......"
Seive cut her off as he gently lifted her chin so their eyes met again, and brought his face close to hers. "Remember this, Sharp......remember......"
And Sharp's face brightened, and a small, ever so tiny smile began to break out on her face.
"Marry me, Sharp, the world has waited long enough for us...."
Fate : Strange Occurences by Grognard (4/9/2001)
Grognard stood in the shadows watching Sharp,Ventor and Seive. Grognard thinks to himself "Hmm Sharp and Ventor are married, but yet Seive wishes to be married to Sharp". "Seive looks more vunerable in that armor, it must be cerimonial armor, perhaps i could strike now" "Or Perhaps i will just let my presence be known, and see how it plays out". Grognard Materalized out of the Shadows Behind Seive, but where Sharp and Ventor could see him in plain sight Grognard Takes ahold of both his morning stars raising them both into a fighting stance, "Greetings Lady Sharp, Ventor"
Fate : Letting Go of the Past by Ventor (4/9/2001)
..."Marry me, Sharp, the world has waited long enough for us...."

Those words should have cut me to the core but strangely they did not. I knew now, indeed I have known for some time that my marriage with Sharp was over. We would remain good friends but we walked in two different worlds. I couldn't condone the life she now lead and she would never be welcome by my peers again.

"Sharp..." I whispered, "if this is truly what you want, I will not hold you back."

Before she could reply a skeletal figure melted from the shadows behind Seive. The figure arrogantly greeted Sharp and I and was about to strike.

"Seive duck and roll" I cried as I launched a shower of meteors over his head at the intruder. What the hell had I gotten myself into...
