CREATURES

Just like The Muggle world, the wizard world is full of creatures. Some Creatures that we have got in Britain are illegal but others aren't. Here are some creatures that you might encounter on your travels around the Wizarding world:

3 headed dogs - Are very fierce but can be calmed down by music.

Basilisk - Creature that most dread. It has a mind of its own unless you happen to speak parelsmouth.

Blast-ended skewets - Hagrid's creation from two separate species of animals. Seem to like human flesh to eat and never stop growing. Their tails may explode off their body at any given notice.

Boggart - Nobody knows the true form of a Boggart because it takes on the shape of whatever you fear the most. It is easily confused.

Cats - Are loving and normally gentle creatures. Some cats are cleverer than others and can sense evil such as Hermione's cat Crookshanks.

Centaurs - Star gazers and do not often interfere with what the stars tell them unless there is an extreme event that must be stopped.

Cornish Pixies - Do not approach Cornish pixies or set them free unless you want to be terrorised or the room you are in to be wrecked.

Dragons - Temperamental and should be approached with care. Be wary of them unless you want to be burnt by their fire. Do not disturb a mother who is looking after her eggs, as they are very possessive. Many different breeds and species.

Dwarves - Little people

Flobberworms - The most boring creatures apparently in the wizarding world. They don't do very much and don't need a lot of attention.

Giants - These people are thought to be the most viscous and cruel in the wizarding world that forced them into hiding in the mountains.

Gnomes - Often found in back gardens and have a sharp set of teeth on them. Can be flung easily and they love it.

Goblins - Run the Gringotts bank. You'd be a fool to mess with one.

Hippogriff - Magical creature that has the best manners. Never insult one and always bow before approaching it or suffer the consequences.
Kappa's

Kelpies - Live in wells.

Nifflers - Useful little things for hunting out treasure of value. They use their nose to dig under ground.

Owls - Useful and loyal pets that deliver your mail for you.

Rats - Some do have magical properties but most are just the same as Muggle rats.

Red caps

Toads - Once a popular pet in the wizarding world but not any more.

Trolls - Viscous creatures that are rather stupid as well.

Unicorns - Beautiful animals that are favourites with the girls.

Vampires - Approach with silver bullets, stakes and plenty of garlic if you want to survive a vampire.

Veela - The most beautiful creatures that will keep you mesmerised permanently.

Werewolf - Have a bad name associated with them and are harmless when they are in wolf form if kept under lock and key. Remember that werewolves are people more than they are wolves.

Yetis - Lives up in the snow covered mountains.

Zombies - Undead creature that are hard to kill.
