| The ACCUFOAM I is a precision, 2 axis manually controlled hot wire machine for cutting EPS foam. It has the capacity to handle a block of foam up to 48" high by 54" wide by 108" long. Foam shapes of practically any description can be accurately cut, either free hand, for simple low production jobs, or with the use of easily made templates (user supplied) for larger production, more complex jobs. Included with the basic machine is the Multi-wire Attachment which allows you to multiply your production by up to five times by increasing the number of cutting wires from one, up to a maximum of six. The cutting wire(s) are 108+inches long, which allows moldings, columns, etc. to be produced in 9' sections.
STANDARD FEATURES Wire travel- 55" horizontal (X axis) and 48 1/2" vertical (Y axis). Ball bearing movements of X and Y axes for smooth, effortless action. 49+" vertical clearance between worktable and harp. Extra large working surface measures 59 3/4" X 108". Cable guidance system assures accurate cuts, uniform throughout length. The harp will hold up to six cutting wires, greatly increasing output. X and Y axes locks allow horizontal and vertical cuts without a template. Low power requirements - plugs into any standard 120 volt outlet. |
