Miyako is Maron's best friend (and my fave. character!). She cares very deeply for Maron and would do anything for her. They are each very different. Miyako loves the rules, while Maron believes that rules "exist to be broken". Opposites attract, ne?? ^_^ Miyako also loves Chiaki, but gives him up for Maron. She is obsessed with catching Jeanne, and has a secret that no one knows. People think that she wants to catch Jeanne just because of her father, the police chief, when it's really because she wants to prove that Maron is innocent. What happened was that she overheard her classmates saying that they thought Maron was Jeanne. Right then and there she vowed to catch Jeanne and prove Maron's innocence. However, she finds out later that Maron is indeed Jeanne, and a certain someone uses her anger to turn her against her best friend. Maron later saves her though. She has a brother named Subaru, a mother named Sakura, and a father named Himuro.
