SOTWBOTW
Announcements Page ...

(Last updated:  March 7, 2002)

Hi there!! Welcome to the SOTWBOTW Announcements Page.
It is important that you keep an eye on this page.  It will continue to be updated.

GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Ladies and Gentleman, since Webring.org has finally seen the light, and has parted ways with Yahoo! things should flow a little smoother around here.  At the very least, that is my hope.  The site will be undergoing major changes.  Some of the pages that you are used to seeing will no longer be available, and many new ones will be added.  If you have information to add, please do not hesitate to contact me

Due to the length of time since the last update, the fact that seveal of our sponsors for different things (like our guest book) have discontinued their services, etc ... There will be some major renevations going on here. Please be patient. Also, please send your suggestions. I am eager to hear them, and possibly implement them. Thank you.

IMPORTANT NOTE:
If you have not signed up at our Yahoo! Groups page or our MSN Communities page, you may be missing out.  The links are provided on the main page.  We request that you please do so in order to keep up with the flow of things, and to enable you to get timely updates from us.  You will not be mail-bombed with useless stuff.  It is simply my way of being able to contact all of you easier.
OWNERS OF WEBRINGS:
For those among us who own web rings . . . Please feel free to add us to your que.  Use the main page URL, the Title is The Sisterhood and Brotherhood of the Wolf Web Ring, the owner is LadyoftheWolves, and the email address is [email protected] .  For any necessary passwords, please use the word "wolf".  I will change it later.  Thank you.  We would like to connect some of these wolf rings a bit better.
SPECIAL THANK-YOU'S TO RING MEMBERS WHO CONTRIBUTED TO THE SITE CHANGES:
Misty of The Animal Images of Misty Lynn sent in the following suggestions, some of which were already in the works, but a hefty thank-you for speaking up is definitely needed, as she was the first one to send in after I requested your imput. Kudos, Misty! -- The menu needed to be changed (the background looked odd, and it seemed that with the way the page was set up it needed to be a sliding menu), links needed to be consolodated here from the main page, and reduce the amount of content on the main page. She was even kind enough to suggest that we get our own domain name. (Would need funds for that, unfortunately, that I don't have out of pocket right now. Maybe later, unless someone else were to contribute the donation for the first year, or whatever. Sorry, guys.)

Cameron of WORLD of the WOLF said the following: "That's a very professional looking page you've created. There is no confusion at all with the navigation." -- Thanx Cameron! Appreciate the complimennt... made me blush! *smile*

Angel -- Thank you for your great imput. I honestly love people who get down to the nitty gritty and tell me what is wrong with the site. I owe you one! -- Here's what she had to contribute: Same complaint about the menu background (I agreed.), A list of broken links and images, fix a bit crowding a couple of pages, maybe moving the search box that seems to be at the top of each page to the bottom of the page to make the page flow better, Also I don't know if its just my computer, but using the #WEBRING etc that you have used to not create a new page seems to be taking longer to load than the regular pages, an offer to help with graphics (Will contact you about that soon, Angel), and the following Rave: "Other than the above mentioned things your site seems to be very easy to get around without having to use horrid frames! *does a happy wolf dance* Site works well in both Netscape and IE *does a happy wolf dance*"

siouxprincess at Little Den on the Prairie contributed the following: on the home page... bravenet graphic is missing, Events page shows up as a blank grey box using win2000 IE6 (hopefully this is fixed now, the events page is now a calendar page (see site)), on the funstuff page, looks like some bravenet graphics are missing (this might be due to them discontinuing some services, but am working on fixing these... thanx for telling me.), I wish certain links opened a new window (well, now a lot of the links will be opening in new windows when you click on them. Try them out. BTW, I agreed.)

Other Imput (lost the emails to these): Schedule is spelled wrong, Fun Stuff Page: Broken Links for e-mail -- Thanx for letting me know. I guess I didn't catch the typo.

A formal appology if you did not make the list and you feel you should have. There was/is no intention to offend. Contact me if you think you belong here, and tell me why.
