| Howlin Coonhound Rescue was started in 2002.Due to our love of the coonhound breed plus the lack of coonhound rescue's,we decided to give a hand in rescuing. We are not a shelter,but a private residence giving our time and opening our home to these lovely hounds in need. We have occasionally taken in other breeds when space is available.Occasionaly we do take in owner turn in's.ANd if we can't,we certainly will try and help you place your pet. |
| How did we get involved with coonhounds? Our first dog,adopted at a local shelter was a black and tan coonhoun named Night.He got us hooked on the breed.:-) |
