The average person has no clue how many transports of animals cross all over the states to either get to safety of a foster home or to a new adoptive family that eargly awaits them new arrival.
Transport coordinators and the drivers are our unsung heros.Taking time out in thier busy schedule to donate some gas and drive a few<sometimes ALOT> miles to get these animals to thier destinations.How do you identify a driver?Crates stacked in the vehicle,smugged up windows so the driver has to roll down thier windows to look out are just some signs to look for . :-)Now,the coordinators are the people behind the scenes.They put alot of man hours into setting up the routes,finding people to drive the legs and monitor the transports progress.They put enough hours into this to qualify as a full time job!And thats no kidding!They have what i feel is the nerve wracking part,Id rather drive!LOL
So,your probably asking whats a leg?How does this work?Well,heres an example of a transport rooster:

Ranger is neutered, UTD on his shots, Hw- , on HW preventive, will be bathed and have frontline on him. Ranger weighs about 60-65 lbs, and he is deaf but sweet. He is food aggressive with other dogs (probably because he's deaf) but otherwise no aggressive issues.
Ranger will ride without a crate, but with seat belt harness and leash.
