I received my Bachelor of Science Degree in 1973 from Ball State University with an area major in Business Education. I received my Master's in Education with a vocational endorsement from Ball State in 1978.
I have been married for 36 years. My husband is employed as a farmer and farms approximately 1600 acres. We live in Summitville, north of Highland High School about 25 miles. We have two children and two grandchildren.
My son, age 31 graduated from Purdue and works as an production supervisor at Amacor in Anderson. He is also a full time farmer helping his dad. He is married and his wife is also a teacher at the Alexandria Middle School. They have two boys, age 7 and 4. They are the apple of their grandmother's eye.
My daughter, age 25 graduated from Indiana University and works as a radiologist technician. She lives in Fishers, Indiana.
My favorite hobbies are reading, boating, and scrapbooking. The family and I enjoy boating at Dale Hollow in Kentucky and Tennesee. We are big "Colts" fans and attend all the home games at the Lucas Oil Stadium.
