           VICTIM OF WHITE PLAGUE
Taylor Myers, aged 23 years, son of the late Uriah Myers of this county, died Tuesday evening at Hendersonville, North Carolina, where he had been making his home for two or three years, after a lingering illness of tuberculosis.  The remains were brought to this county, and yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock the funeral services were held at Haysville Church, conducted by Rev. A. J. Pike.  The burial was in the church cemetery.  Mr. Myers was a young man of promise, and his death just as he was entering upon a threshold of manhood is a source of deep sorrow to his many relatives and friends.  About two years ago his health began to fail, and hoping that the climate would prove beneficial he moved to Hendersonville.  the relief he obtained was temporary, and for some time before his death his condition had been serious.  He is survived by his mother and one brother and two sisters, who have been living at Hendersonville since moving there from this place, and who in their bereavement have the sympathy of many friends.

             DIES OF TUBERCULOSIS
Lee Myers, 28 years old, a son of the late Uriah O. Myers, who previous to his death a few years ago was a well known Gravel Switch merchant, died at his home at Gravel Switch last Saturday of tuberculosis.  He had been in failing health for several years and his death was not unexpected.  Mr. Myers had spent much of his time in North Carolina hoping to be benefited, but the relief he obtained was on temporary.  He was well known in the eastern part of the county, and was popular with everyone who knew him.  He was unmarried and is survived by his mother and two sisters.  The funeral services and burial took place at Haysville church Sunday.
