| LEBANON ENTERPRISE, 4/22/1981 MARY CHAMBERS HOURIGAN, 79 Mary Chambers Hourigan, 79, of 2429 Larkin Road, Lexington, died at 10:50pm April 13 at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington. Mrs. Hourigan was a native of Green Castle, Indiana and a former resident of Marion County. She was the daughter of the late William and Lilly Cox Chambers. Survivors include: two sons, Wilson Hourigan of Lexington and Roy B. Hourigan, Jr. of Gravel Switch; six daughters, Mrs. Alice Chambers and Mrs. Mary Margaret Taylor of Perryville, Mrs. June Straney of Jeffersontown, Mrs. Jeannie Burch of Lancaster, SC, Mrs. Darnelle Dairs of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Mrs. Gloria Crain of Danville; one brother, Rev. John S. Chambers of Lexington; 27 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at 2pm April 16 at Beech Fork Baptist Church with burial in Hourigan Cemetery. Rev. Robert Hill and Rev. Terry Townsend officiated. Pallbearers were Crosby Lynch, David Lynch, C. R. "Tip" Whitehouse, Ross Hourigan, Joe Brussell and Tommy Orberson. Bosley Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. |
