John B. "Balu" Hale, 64, of 515 Forum Ave., Louisville, died January 5 at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
Mr. Hale was a retired barrel maker for Lousiville Cooperage Co. and a native of Lebanon. He was a son of the late John B. and Margaret Hourigan Hale.
Survivors include: two sisters, Mrs. Beulah Edminston and Miss Almeda Hale of Louisville; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were conducted at 10am, January 8 at Arch L. Heady Funeral Home with burial in the Haysville Cemetery.
Arch L. Heady Funeral Home, Taylor Blvd., Louisville, was in charge of the arrangements.
