| Grantley Dabreo was born was born in St Vincent. He grew up attending church where he discoverd his love for musical instruments. In his last years attending the St Martin Secondary School the gospel group "Saphire" of which he was a member as a song writer, vocalist and guitarist. In 1988 he migrated to tortola where he worked as an entertainer. it was there he performed with his first soca band "full force", a group of Vincentians residing in BVI,he was a vocalist and bassist with this band,he returned to St Vincent in 1991 when he worked with theater power band and forward out of Bequia. His career as a musician took off when he beacme a part of the band Exodus,it was with this band that his true potential was discovered.On the first album they recorded together he drum rhythm programmer bassist and vocalist doing his first hit song "doggy". On this same album he worked on hits like "bilah sanka" and "pan jam" this band give him his first touring experience, doing gags in Barbados, U.S.A, and Canada. |
