Stewed Spare Ribs
Ingredients:
1.333 lb spare ribs ( belly part )
2 slices ginger
2 talks spring onion
2 tbsp honey
2 star anise
0.25 dried tangerine peel
2 cups water
Seasoning:
3 tbsp dark soy
0.5 tsp salt
2 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp oil
Method:

Wash, clean and chop spare ribs into 4" long sections. Blanch in boiled water.
Take out and wash again. Drain.

Clean and section spring onion. Soak and clean dried tangerine peel.

Saute ginger and spring onion with 1 tbsp oil. Add spare ribs, seasoning, star anise,
dried tangerine peel and water. Bring to boil. Then stew over mild heat till spare
ribs are tender. When liquid is reduced, stir in honey. Serve hot.
