Pious and sinful deeds are totally different in their aspect. Papa or Punya can't be balanced or compensated with each other. One cannot wipe out the Papas accrued by him by doing some charities. Doing Punya to balance papas is a misapprehension. One may be misled to kill his foes and do some charities in lieu thereof. This is not correct. Those who do evil deeds will certainly suffer Naraga to harvest their sowings proportionately. Those who do good deeds enjoy Swarga Boga in proportion to their good deeds. Both Naraga and Swarga are enjoyed separately for separate periods one at one time and then take births in this world after exhausting the fruits of good or evil deeds.
Punya or Papa is equally not good and conducive to Athma as it enables and entitles it to ensuring birth and death tangle. |
