God says that gnani (wise) is asleep while the world is awakening gnani is awakening while the world is asleep. This does not literally mean that Gnani sleeps at day times and is awakening at nights. God says that wise is alert and awakened by keeping away Maya while others are asleep by their ignorance about the activities of the Maya. While others are involved in the fruits of deed of papa or punya entitling them to be busy with births and deaths making them awakened. Wise is asleep, peaceful and not worried about the fruits of deeds as he had renunciated them in favour of God without entangling him into birth and death tangle. Here day is meant the beginning of a yuga till its end and night means end of yuga till commencement of a yuga's evolution.

We must renuciate the fruits of even pious deeds and totally surrender to God. We must not do sinful deeds. Those deeds creating trouble or pain to living beings are sinful deeds. Those deeds which help living beings feel comfort and bring relief to their pains and give pleasure to them are pious deeds. Unless and until we come to a sensible conclusion that Shri Vasudeva who had descended and taught mankind the Science of souls and super soul and he is great and everything, we are sure that this birth is not our last one and we may have to come across several births to come to that conclusion.
