This page is dedicated to my boyfriend, Jeff. We've known each other for several years (we met at Paychex in October '02) but we didn't start dating until October (2005). Most of the time he's an ass, but he has his moments.

07/30/05: Jeff and I went miniature golfing with a wager of ice cream for the loser. Too bad we tied and then had to flip a coin to see who was going to be shelling out the extra $2 for dessert. Mr. Kowalski lost the coin toss so he needs to pay up...

10/16/05: ice cream wager satisfied, finally! Actually, I had been given a deadline of the end of the month so I figured I better use it. Plus, my entertainment coupons were expiring soon so we had to go to Dairy Queen.
11/30/05: Well, Thanksgiving has come and gone and I got to meet Jeff's family - I think I'll keep him around just for them! We were working on this puzzle (New York City panoramic - lot of blue sky) for quite awhile that just got finished, quite an accomplishment, but it remains to be seen what's going to happen to the puzzle now.
Jeff is trying to beat me at Friends Trivia, but we have to watch all of the episodes first before he can even think of doing that, and we're still on Season 1. After we watch all 10 seasons I'm sure he will beat me and then we'll have to move on to something else that I can beat him at, like Sex and the City. he he - or I suppose the fair thing to do would be to watch all seasons of Seinfeld.
12/23/05: We're opening christmas presents tonight, yeah!!! I can't wait for Jeff to see what I got him.
12/27/05: Christmas is done. 
But I got some cool gifts from my boyfriend, I got Nintendo, woohoo! I don't ever want to put it down, we beat Super Mario Bros the first night and now I'm hooked on Family Feud. I also got a couple of movies, a cow, a snowglobe, and a purple hippo (inside joke but if you know how much I like the 'I want a hippopotamus for christmas' song you'd know). I named him Hero.
Occasionally, Jeff accompanies me on Tuesday nights to my parents, he helps me practice...

01/03/06: Jeff finally went to Fun World with me last Friday and he actually admitted it was kind of fun. I knew it would be! Although we played mini-golf with another wager of ice cream and I lost the bet by one stroke, my lucky day. We followed our first trip to Fun World by our first fish fry together, we went to Finn's, and it was pretty good. New Year's Eve came and went with friends at my apartment, good times. Then my grandparents from MN came into town and we got to hang out with them, playing cards (Shanghai - sort of challenging to learn).
01/07/06: Prime Quarter, here we come! At the beginning of football season in '05, Jeff and I made a wager for our fantasy league - the loser had to pay for dinner at the restaurant of the winner's choice. I won and I chose Prime Quarter.
01/23/06: This is Jeff's first birthday week, apparently he gets two because his birthday falls on a Sunday this year, I think he's making up rules. I'm willing to humor him for at least one week so he's getting a gift each day this week but he has to earn it. I've designed a scavenger hunt for him to do each morning with clues around the apartment. It hasn't proved to be very difficult, but fun just the same. So far he's received a Bucks jersey and a ticket for the game we went to on Saturday night, Legend of Zelda for NES, and some Brewers magnets for when he gets his apartment and needs to hang stuff on the refrigerator.

01/26/05: Today I had cookies delivered to Paychex for Jeff's birthday, he also got this week a beanie baby penguin, a box of books by an author that he likes, and a subscription to Men's Health.
02/02/06: Jeff's birthday has come and gone - the good news is that there are only 153 days left until his next one! I was too sick this past weekend to go to Red Lobster so we're going to go this weekend, woohoo!
02/10/06: We still didn't get to Red Lobster because somebody got Jeff sick last weekend, stupid person! oh wait, that was me. Hopefully we'll get to go this weekend, but Jeff just moved into his apartment last week and we still have stuff to move in and get setup.
02/27/06: We finally went to Red Lobster a couple of weekends ago and it was yummy! Now I just have to start thinking of a place to go for my birthday. Jeff is all settled into his place, got furniture and everything, it's so nice and cozy and convenient to everything. Jeff took me out on Friday night and we went to Olive Garden for dinner and then to Fun World again, we have a lot of fun there! Some girl beat him at this racing game, oh wait, that was me... 
Currently we are hooked on this game called Word Whomp, the computer gives you six letters and you have to make as many words as you can in a certain amount of time, we're kicking some butt.
03/07/06: I got my laptop yesterday, we're still waiting for Jeff's. We had such a bad experience getting these laptops, it was ridiculous. We ordered them from Dell under a business discount and somehow they were going to be billed and shipped to Jeff's coworker. It took me 4 days and at least 4 hours on the phone to get it all straightened out. I've never been transferred between departments so many times in my life. Jeff leaves for corporate on Sunday, but he'll only be gone for 3 days so I'm pretty sure I can manage. But he is meeting my mom's whole family this weekend so hopefully he doesn't ponder over the three days what the heck he's doing with me, cuz my family isn't that bad...

03/14/06: Jeff is in New York right now doing his senior school for work, I miss him. We had a good time with my family this past weekend; went swimming, ate some food, and gambled. The casino was pretty good to us, too; after paying for dinner, breakfast, and the room, we came home with about $50, not bad.
03/21/06: We went to Jeff's grandparents for a St Patrick's Day party this weekend. I made the mistake of asking his cousin if they were Irish. yikes! He told me to stop embarrassing Jeff, and then I got a session about the Geography of Europe and where Luxembourg is because apparently besides being Irish, they're also part Luxembourg... Anyway, we got some pictures taken and I think they're pretty cute.

04/06/06: Baseball season has officially started with Opening Day this week, woohoo! We tailgated with Saz's, got there at 9:30 and then Jeff suggested we play quarters which kept us busy until 12:00 when the buses started going to the stadium.
Jeff, Jeff S, Matt, and Timmy drank a good portion of the 30 beers, but Anthony and I helped out a little...

04/17/06: Easter was this past weekend but we didn't do anything because Jeff left for his cruise. I gave him an Easter basket with toys and candy to take on his trip. I can't believe I'm not going to get to talk to him for a whole week!
04/26/06: We're both home now from our respective trips and sitting on my couch with our laptops talking to each other on Instant Messenger, we are retarded! We're also watching Whose Line is it Anyway and that show is hilarious!

05/19/06: Hi Gecko - he he. We just got back from Vegas and I totally wish we were still there, it was so much fun! I don't really miss the tickle tortures but I can't wait to go on another vacation, where should we go next? We're taking Jeff's mom to the Brewers game tonight for Mother's Day and she got us 2nd row seats next to the dugout, awesome!
05/22/06: The Brewers game, second row, was awesome! - probably the closest I'll ever get to the field. We also took my mom yesterday and witnessed a big fight in the parking lot - quite humorous.
05/30/06: We went up north to Jeff dad's house this weekend (thank you honey - I had fun!) and jumped in the cold cold water with Becky (the dog) and played fetch (Jeff tried to play fetch with me but it worked better with the dog). We also went to a flea market (aka huge rummage sale) and bought a Brewers glass and a Smurf glass. We didn't get to stay very long so I can't wait to go back when we have more time.
06/12/06: My birthday week is over. I got 2 chick flicks in (Monster-In-Law and Bring It On), got to go to a festival, miniature golfing, and I think I still get a dinner of my choice, but I'm not sure since we went to Lucille's and Jeff spent a lot of money already. And I got really cool gifts from my boyfriend as well: a Brewers tshirt, a Brewers sweatshirt, a racing cow, some John Candy movies, a bobblehead doll, and roses were delivered with the softest teddy bear ever!
06/27/06: This past weekend we went to Minnesota for my cousin's wedding reception, we had a blast! I'm so glad that Jeff got to hang out with my family and they enjoyed each other's company, he can't wait to go back! I think it's because my cousins have a lot of cool toys...
07/06/06: The 4th of July has come and gone, I like fireworks so it was cool but Jeff thinks they're pointless so he didn't come with us to enjoy them. Otherwise, the long weekend was pretty uneventful, just watched some movies and had a little bbq at Jeff's place on Monday evening.
07/25/06: This summer is going by way too fast!! We got to go up north again this weekend with some of our friends - good times, good times. I'm really not looking forward to August when Jeff leaves for 10 days and I won't even get to talk to him!
08/15/06: Jeff is finally back home from his fishing trip, thank goodness! I was pretty busy while he was gone, but I missed him lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots! And p.s. - Nemo is ORANGE!

08/22/06: Three sporting events in one weekend, we are hard core! Brewers game on Friday night, Packer game on Saturday night, and Snappers game on Sunday, whew, I sure am sick of nachos, pretzels, and hot dogs! We cut your hair last night, has it really been that long since we did it last? It didn't seem that long 'til I started cutting it. Three weeks and we'll do it again, I promise. I missed you last night, I'm not used to going home after wrestling.
09/07/06: Wagers for the football season were finalized today. 1 - Aaron's yahoo team, dinner is the wager and 2 - Doug's CBS team, dessert (<=$15), movie, & popcorn is the wager. You are going down!
09/21/06: Jeff has been gone to Rochester for almost two weeks already and even though I get to talk to him every day, I still miss him lots; it's just not the same around here. Anyway, he comes home tomorrow but he leaves immediately for bear hunting with his dad so I won't get to spend quality time with him until next week.
09/27/06: Jeff didn't get a bear last weekend; a black bear, not a grizzly or polar. Anyway, now he has to go back this weekend and when he comes home on Sunday we're heading to his brother's graduation party.
10/31/06: Happy Halloween! Even though you hate this holiday, I really like trick or treating with Leslie's nieces every year, it's good practice since you're going to make me take our kids someday. Anyway, you did end up getting a bear and I'm very excited for your rug, it's going to look so nice! Two more days until you find out where we're going this weekend, I'm so excited! 12/21/06: So one of our fantasy football leagues are done and you totally owe me dinner at Prime Quarter, again! I totally got lucky getting into the playoffs but once there, I whooped your butt! I'm glad you like your Brewers quilt, and I made it for you to use, not to just display. I can always fix it if you wreck it! I'm happy that I got to roll in another New Year with you, even if the boys did beat us girls at Disney trivia! I can't wait for everything we have planned this year - our trip in 5 weeks, a house (I still want a purple spare bedroom - it goes with my comforter!), our trip to NY - um, go Yankees???, and maybe a puppy if we're lucky.

I'm glad we got to hang out on your birthday, it was fun and you actually got me to try Chinese food for you. I had fun this past weekend with you too, going to Organ Piper for dinner on Friday night, yummy! And you finally satisfied the movie part of our fantasy football wager by taking me to Budget to see Stranger than Fiction and Borat. Saturday night we went to dinner with your dad and Amy and played Royal Rummy, that was fun! The Superbowl was fun yesterday, go Colts!

03/28/07: Guess what next Monday is? Opening Day!!! woohoo! The best surprise you've ever given me was last Opening Day when you bought me a jersey and hung it in the bathroom without me even knowing! That was the greatest... This house hunting business is exciting and depressing at the same time. I'm so excited to find our house, but when will we find it?
05/15/07: Oh my, I am getting way behind on updating your page, my bad! But you've been out of town a lot in the last 2 months so I guess I don't have anything exciting to share. Opening Day was of course a blast as usual... Easter has come and gone, thank you for participating the egg hunt, admit it - you had fun! We placed an offer on a house but will probably not get it because we weren't fast enough. What else? Oh yeah, we went up north, I love going up there! I can't wait for the boat, and that girl on the back... he he - your dad is so funny sometimes! That must be where you get it from. Only a couple more weeks until you're an uncle, I can't wait!
05/17/07: Aiden came early, around 4:38pm today, he is so cute! I know, he takes after his uncle.
06/13/07: My birthday has come and gone and Jeff just thinks he's so funny! He got me this singing birthday card and on the front it says, "A Long Long Time Ago" and when you open it up it plays the theme song from Star Wars and says, "You Were Born." ha ha ha ha ha! He bought it for me and Heidi! He also got me the first six seasons of King of Queens which is great because now we can watch all of the episodes and follow the storyline from the beginning - LOVE that show, it's so funny! And I got a cow, very cute, and a picture frame.
09/04/07: Holy Crap have I gotten bad at updating, but we've been so busy this summer! We bought a house and I moved, then you moved, then we went out of town to New York, and then you went out of town again and I had to get the house ready for our party, crazy! So us living together pretty much is just getting started; I'm looking forward to it. I think we know each other pretty well but there's bound to be some new habits that we'll find annoying. Anyway, we had our housewarming party earlier this week; we had a blast!

10/01/07: Two whole years honey, that went so fast! Thank you for the beautiful roses you sent me, they were quite unexpected. I still don't feel like we're living together yet since I've had to work so much this month and haven't really seen you. It's almost time to go visit Beth & Brett, I'm getting excited! Fantasy football has started and our bets are on again this year. We're doing dinner at Prime Quarter if I win and dinner at Red Lobster if Jeff wins. We're also in the Paychex Pick 'Em league again and we have a movie bet on that one. Loser has to pay, Winner gets to choose.
01/04/08: Fantasy football is officially over and I beat you in both leagues, ha ha ha!! You owe me Prime Quarter and since I owed you a movie you just owe me popcorn. The last couple of months last year were exciting. We went to TN and we put up a christmas tree. What else happened? Your mom got married! and we went to MN for a few days, that was fun.
02/21/08: Well, you've been sick for quite awhile now. You get better for a day or so and then back to being sick, what's up with that? You should really go to a doctor! And I should make you sleep in the garage! Anyway, it was exciting for a few days to have our tax refunds but they're almost gone. At least we won't have car payments for hopefully a few years. We should start researching puppy stuff if that's what we're going to use our tax rebate for.
03/20/08: Easter is here already, crazy! I'm excited to do our egg hunt again this year, you're going down! You're going to be busy this weekend with the tournament, how boring! Is there anything else going on? Hmmm. Boston is coming up soon, I'm getting excited for that! And Opening Day, yippee!
07/12/08: Wow, have I gotten bad at updating this! What's happened in the last few months? The biggest thing is our basement got flooded, that really sucked! We finally got money from our insurance so we can get new carpet and redo the drywall, what a pain in the ass! We've been up north a few times, your dad got a new boat, that's fun. We'll be going in a few weeks with our friends, yippee! We've been babysitting Aiden lately, he's such a cutie! (takes after his uncle, I know) The Brewers season has started so we've been to Miller Park a lot, it's shaping up to be a good year!
