| My newest series, Fantastic Creatures, explores what people have believed to be true not only in the distant past, but also in current urban myths. The pieces draw on the explorations of Sir John Mandeville in the Far East during Medieval times, touch on myths of little-known giant creatures, and examine current myths such as the Mothman and the Jersey Devil. This series explores what we are willing to believe and humanity's desire for the unbelievable to be true. |
