Torah covers created by Holley Bakich I'm comfortable and happy working in a variety of media including fabric, glass, wood, and clay. As you can see from my Fine Art Portfolio pages, I embroider, bead, sew, do leather work, and work with wood (including carving). I can also create mosaic and stained-glass pieces.

The pieces at left are torah covers completely created by me from the wood rings to the quilted velvet skirts to the embroidered and quilted illustrations. Below are Challah covers I created for a bar mitzvah.

To the right is another Challah cover, one I created for a Bat Mitzvah.

Walnut Woodcarving by Holley Bakich Grandfather and Grandson (left) was carved from a solid piece of walnut 24 inches high. It is installed in a Biblical Garden in El Paso, Texas in a section called the "Garden of Knowledge."
