The Hogan Junior Varsity team has made tremendous strides over the last couple of years.  They are 2 time League Champions while going undefeated in last years campaign in the SCAC.  Most of that group will be filling in at the Varsity spots, but the program will still be strong with upcoming Freshmen and Sophomores challenging at the weight.  Can the Junior Varsity keep the momentum of success alive this season?  Time will tell...  As the team prepares for the season, you will see a much more aggresive Spartan club than any other year.

Incoming Freshmen have invaded the Hogan Spartan's wrestling program.  Defending Springstowne GVRD city champions have several of their team members attending Hogan High School.  They are looking for a new home to continue their wrestling careers.  The Blue and White meet will determine the fate of these Blue Chip athletes as they challenge for a Varsity position.  They are very capable of starting at this level.  They have the talent and the experience.
7 Middle School GVRD Champions

The best city recuirting class surpassing Vallejo, Bethel and St. Pats.  The Hogan program lands 7 city champions.  The future of our program lay in their hands.  With only 2 having committed for the season during preseason conditioning, we are awaiting for the fall sports to finish before they release their players.  Cross Country, Tennis, Volleyball, Soccer and Football end in the mid November month.  So we should be seeing more athletes before making competition at the Blue & White meet and Novice tournament.
